Blood Candy

Blood Candy is the first book in a new paranormal / urban fantasy comedy series. It’s the culmination of countless research hours into the genre. All of the teenage angst has been finely tuned and counterbalanced with the inclusion of bad ass werewolves. For each whiny vampire, there’s another vampire who’d just as soon kick your frail mother down a set of stairs rather than ask you to the prom. There’s even plenty of gore: If you’re squeamish, you might cringe a few times, but it won’t be too bad. Trust me.
This isn’t your sister’s paranormal romance.

Welcome to New England: Undead Population Unknown and Rising
This series takes place in New England, where vampires and shapeshifters have been engaged in a struggle for control over the last two and a half centuries. British vampires who refuse to believe they lost the revolution have been in power since colonial times and they have no intention of sharing now. The story centers on a girl who gets caught up between the two opposing supernatural factions.

The Girl
Candy is an average, small-town girl who knows nothing about vampires or werewolves, and neither does she suspect the conflict she’s about to be caught up in. Luckily for her, when she encounters a vampire with a thirst for her blood, a pack of lycans happens to be in the right place at the right time. But this group of misfit teenagers can barely protect themselves without having to babysit Candy as well. Will they be able to help each other out, or will she only manage to get everyone killed?

The Shapeshifters
The lycans may be more mysterious than the vampires. Old feuds and antiquated treaties between the wolves and vampires have turned the region into a volatile time bomb ready to explode into conflict. The werewolves have all but abandoned much of New England, but one persistent pack of lycans refuses to surrender their home to the bloodsuckers. This ragtag team of misfits may be outmatched and outnumbered by the vampires, but they are resourceful . . . and they are good at running. With the help and wisdom of a veteran werewolf, maybe they can overcome the insurmountable odds and reclaim what the vampires took away.

The Vampire Families
Candy finds out the hard way that vampires are real. And not only are they real, many of them belong to powerful families. It’s tough enough dealing with one vampire, but a whole family of them? Candy and the lycans have their work cut out. Can they survive against the vampires?  Check out Blood Candy to find out, and check back here at Vampire vs. Lycan for more updates.
